Faith is forced consent

We may have begun our journey fairly convinced Jesus was a "good man," but as we considered the evidence we were forced in a very different direction. We certainly did not set out predisposed to believe. So, we find ourselves agreeing with this statement:

"Faith is forced consent. That is to say, when evidence is judged by the mind to be sufficient, the state of mind we call 'faith' is the inevitable effect whenever the reasons are judged sufficient, faith or belief is induced."    —John Murray, Collected Writings II

Your smartphone cannot replace this massive loss of moral virtue, integrity, rationality and reason that secures your societal safety.

The most rational, the most reasonable thing you can do at this point is to place your hope, trust, and confidence (faith) in the Lord Jesus Christ. Don't lean on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Trust his faithful Word as your compass to navigate you home safely through the difficult days ahead, as darkness and godlessness has its day.

Albert Einstein was no atheist;

’he believed in God’

Albert Einstein’s attitude towards Jesus Christ

in an interview with The Saturday Evening Post,

October 26 1929

.

"To what extent are you influenced by Christianity?"

"As a child I received instruction both in the Bible and in the Talmud. I am a Jew,

but enthralled by the luminous figure of the Nazarene."

.

"Have you read Emil Ludwig’s book on Jesus?"

"Emil Ludwig’s Jesus is shallow. Jesus is too colossal for the pen of phrasemongers, however artful. No man can dispose of Christianity with a bon mot."

.

"You accept the historical Jesus?"

Unquestionably! No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence

of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life.”

Fact: The world you're living in is not the one your parents grew up in. America has had 200 years of Christian rationality that moderated immorality. That rationality has ended.

They have witnessed the death of purity, innocence, virtue, beauty, chasteness, good manners, etiquette, dignity, courtesy, respect, wholesomeness, tenderness, gentleness, modesty, propriety, politeness, decorum, decency, shame and guilt, righteousness, honor, nobility, civility, kindness, graciousness, reverence, reason, sound moral principles and judgment; along with the loss of masculine leadership from good men of loyalty, chivalry, gallantry, valor and unconditional love.

Why do so many scientists believe in evolution?

.

As Oxford University and University of Massachusetts, Amherst Professor of Geosciences

Lynn Margulis put it in The Altenburg 16: An Expose of the Evolution Industry:

.

" ....people are always more loyal to their tribal group than to any abstract notion

of ‘truth’ – scientists especially. If not they are unemployable

It is professional suicide to continually contradict one’s teachers or social leaders."

Big deal...

so where's all the proof that God exists?

It's been given! And you are without excuse!
